This dojo is for advanced Japanese karateka mainly in Kyushu, and for visitors from overseas. Needless to say, the practice sessions are focused on Asai-ryu Karate, and according to several senior JKS karateka, are probably the best sessions of their kind in all of Japan! A very big compliment indeed!

Anyway here are some photos from tonight’s training, which was dominated by stationary gyaku zuki, stationary mae geri and Junro-nidan kata. Other kata in the practice included Jion, Empi, Unsu, Gojushiho Dai, Sochin and Meikyo
