Here is another news story suggesting that your waist/hip ratio is a better assessment of your health, than your total bodyweight or your BMI.

It is thought this is because storing fat around your waist means you have a lot more visceral fat between/around your internal organs. And this seems to be particularly bad for our health.

This is certainly true. All that fat strangles your internal organs and causes disease. Fat thighs on a woman are not unhealthy, but belly fat is bad. You need to diet, 100 katas a day won’t shift that much fat.
