I’d like to conclude by saying, even though Richard Sensei never won the JKA All Japan Championships, if you you’ve seen his fights, you 100% know that he didn’t lose! What’s more, as an instructor, Asai Sensei said to me that “Richard was, by far, the best foreign graduate of the instructors course” and “he was better than most of the Japanese instructors”…
