I will be receiving a copy of the newest edition of “A Precise History of Shotokan Karate” very soon.
I just ordered it from the same place I get my tropical weight Meijin Karate Gis, and their customer service is superb, so it’ll probably be waiting for me as soon as I get to the house tonight.

UPDATE: It’s arrived, and it’s beautiful. It must weigh twenty pounds. Beautiful book, beautiful photos. I’ve barely skimmed it, but it’s full of materials that I’ve never seen anywhere else. More to come!
